The ANS Sunset Screening
Across the Border partnered with The Afroniche Society and The New Black Film Collective to host The ANS Sunset Screening at Rich Mix in London. It was a curated evening dedicated to celebrating underrepresented voices in film, particularly African and Black storytelling.
The event featured a selection of short films by emerging and established filmmakers, exploring themes of identity, heritage, memory, and community. Each screening was followed by a Q&A session with filmmakers and creatives, creating space for meaningful dialogue about storytelling, representation, and the power of film.
Bringing together audiences, creatives, and community members, the evening celebrated cinema as a powerful medium for sharing diverse perspectives and amplifying voices that are often overlooked.
